KUALA LUMPUR (Sep 28) — MCE Holdings, Malaysia-based auto parts maker, said Thursday it has secured contracts to supply various electronic and mechatronic components and parts for UMW Holdings’ automotive unit Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua’s (Perodua) new car models.
The contracts, expected to commence in fourth quarter of the financial year ending Jul. 31, 2018, are expected to generate a total revenue of approximately 33 million ringgit ($7.80 million) for the company over seven years, it said in an exchange filing.
The estimated total investment cost for the contracts is one million ringgit, it said.
