Do you want an influential role that covers the entire supply chain at the VELUX Group? And would you like to join a global market leader, facilitating changes that elevate our entire sales forecast process? Then here is an opportunity to become part of VELUX central planning unit in Kolding. You will join a team of 17 skilled co-workers who are all dedicated to optimising and stabilising our supply chain and supporting an effective production of finished goods at our European production plants.

Your challenges
In this newly established position, you constantly challenge, analyse and improve our current procedures to help us meet our KPIs around sales forecast accuracy.

We are looking for a person who is able to work at all levels in the organisation and is comfortable defining and optimising concepts and processes while still having daily operational tasks. You will work with different tasks, but your main focus area will be our sales forecast process.

More specifically, you will:

  • Be involved in the sales forecast process and continuously strive for an improved sales forecast accuracy by improving the S&OP planning processes
  • Hold S&OP meetings with our sales companies to have the best possible inputs and discuss the market trends to get a better understanding about the future sales
  • Ensure that our demand planning system is updated with all relevant inputs from the sales companies and ensure that knowledge about demand changes is communicated to supply planners
  • React on alerts on forecast deviation and solve the problems
  • Ensure that life cycle planning is updated in the demand planning system

Your qualifications
We expect that you hold a Master’s degree within either logistics or engineering and preferably two years of professional experience within supply chain management or sales & operations planning. We work in SAP, why experience working with SAP APO and demand planning will be an asset, but not a requirement.

Some of your strong points are your analytical skills and your structured approach to tasks. On top of that, you possess strong communication skills and support your decisions with reason and strong arguments.

As a person, you are outgoing and you enjoy working in a team as well as with various stakeholders. At the same time, you can balance several tasks and projects at once and you thrive delivering results, being an important factor in ensuring our continued progress within this field.

As you will engage with stakeholders throughout our global organisation, you are fluent in English and Danish.

Your opportunities
We offer an interesting and diverse job where you get great opportunities to influence your future development – both in terms of tasks and your career. We evolve professionally and personally through our tasks, and you and your results will determine your future. This is a great opportunity for you to grow in a company were your ambitions will be matched and developed through challenging tasks and responsibility.

We believe in empowering people and we support this through sharing knowledge, delegating responsibility and investing in people who strive to make a difference. We are a strong value based company where passion, commitment, thoroughness and mutual respect are among the core values and teamwork and professionalism is essential to the way we work.
