Responsible for managing and developing a team of supply chain professionals through empowerment and trust, delegation, and prioritization.
Must understand and meet the financial responsibilities of the site in conjunction with the Strategic Commodity Teams.
Influences decisions and resolves conflicts confidently and assertively.
Communicates with executive management and other stakeholders to resolve problems.
Responsible for the site part family PO purchasing, spot buys, requisition processing, delegating, empowering, and teaching fellow team members, managing supplier performance, and strong expertise in the use of supply chain tools.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to delivery assurance leadership, supplier performance monitoring and assessment, including development/alignment reviews and Supplier Gold, leveraging the supply chain playbooks and working with the regional delivery assurance team to ensure the timely delivery of parts.
Assists the supplier corrective action and work transfer/transition processes.
Responsible for assigned site performance metrics and other responsibilities as required.
Ensures quality product utilizing UTAS quality procedures.
Audits work area for safety compliance.
Adheres to all UTAS rules and codes of conduct.
Performs other duties as required.

BA/BS degree w/5–7+ years’ experience
MA/MS degree w/2–4+ years’ experience
Bachelor’s degree with at least 5-7 years’ relevant experience.Three or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace industry.
