AuditSphere is currently assisting one of our clients in the Consumer Goods goods industry with their Internal Auditor-Supply Chain role based in Dusseldorf, Germany.


This role would suit a very hands on professional with strong Supply Chain exposure, willing to start a promising career towards Top Management. As an Internal Auditor within the multifunctional team, you will be working for  3-4 years on international projects with a strong focus on process analysis and internal consulting. Besides this, a wide range of training opportunities will be provided. Our client is offering an international and challenging environment with deep insights into their strategy, divisions and functions.


  • Conduct financial, operational and compliance audits in accordance with Department’s audit programmes working either independently or as part of a team
  • Independent performance of audits, joining the Supply Chain, Operations & Safety group, one of a few  audit groups within the Company
  • Responsible for projects within Affiliated Companies all over the world (up to 24 weeks travel to company locations in more than 75 countries)
  • Identification of improvement areas and determination of actions with the respective management
  • Map the entire risk framework for the Headquarters and Regions where the Group operates, developing controls and robust audit plans and procedures
  • Perform and document all work in compliance with established methodology and IIA standards and codes
  • Identify improvement opportunities to the Group’s processes where deficiencies are identified and work with the business to develop value adding solutions
  • Help identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness in delivery of the IA plan through integrated auditing activities and identification of opportunities to utilise data analytics
  • Provide support, assistance and practical guidance to Management on internal control matters
  • Perform follow-up on past audit reports and reviews to ensure issues and action items have been fully addressed by the relevant Operating Company or Department
  • Carry out ad hoc assurance projects, such as investigations, as requested


  • Recognised professional qualification such as CIA/ACCA/CPA/CFE very desirable
  • 3 years of supply chain experience
  • Audit experience
  • SAP experience very desirable
  • Preferably Project management experience
  • Experience from abroad and/or international environment
  • Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory, and any other languages would be advantageous
  • Strong academic track record
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
