Supply Chain/Production planner wanted for a large health and wellness organization located on the eastern part of Long Island.

Requirements:

Create and maintain production schedule in MRP system to satisfy supply chain needs of goods
Recognize, analyze, and support resolution for manufacturing bottlenecks
Liaison with other departments, including Shipping, Quality, and Customer Service to communicate job status.
Ensure proper maintenance of MRP parameters, including but not limited to, EOQs, Lead Times, target dates, Routings, and BOMs
Lead regular meetings within manufacturing and with other departments to ensure an accurate schedule and to resolve production issues
Provide insights and knowledge on planning related information as requested
Satisfy growing responsibilities over time as directed by Planning/Operations management
Proactively work to improve overall supply chain efficiency

Working hours: 7:00am-4:30pm

Skills:
Minimum of 2-5 years industry experience in a GMP or GLP environment (CPG considered)
Supply Chain certification preferred (i.e., APICS, Lean Six Sigma)
High analytical skills, including ability to recognize bottleneck and illustrate issues to others
High understanding of MRP systems and logic, including the impact of various parameters
