The Opportunity

Reporting to the Australian Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), the Supply Chain and Procurement Project Manager is a senior role based in Mt Wellington, Auckland.  The role is responsible for assisting the CPO and the NZ Chief Operating Officer to drive transformation and implement new and relevant best in class procurement methodologies by working closely with the business operating divisions and its clients. The initial focus of the role will be to project manage and implement strategies to improve the ISS New Zealand supply chain, deliver savings to business divisions & their clients, reduce supplier risk and improve the procurement process.

The Supply Chain and Procurement function is committed to assisting the business to deliver cost reduction & efficiencies, governance, innovation, new business and transitions. The Supply Chain and Procurement Project Manager will work closely with the entire Pacific Supply Chain & Procurement team, Business Development, Corporate and other functions to enable the partnerships and promote a positive Supply Chain.

If you have lead projects or supplier transitions with large matrix cross-functional teams and have 10 to 15 years’ experience using procurement and project management methodologies to drive cost savings and supplier transformation and delivered a wide range of procurement projects across multiple industries and categories with your highly transferable and adaptable skills in Category Management in the Facilities Management or Building Construction industry looking after Subcontractors, Parts or MRO and are comfortable with a busy travel schedule to engage directly with all stakeholders and suppliers nationally then we would like to hear from you.
